“ Oreste, o la nausea della vita ” - Theatre Play by Makria Miden
“ Oreste, o la nausea della vita ” is an intensely sensory performance: the repetition of scenes and their blending serve to make Oreste's sense of nausea real and tangible. Similarly, the lines, delivered with an almost musical approach and devoid of any attempt at naturalism, are written to be orally played by the actors. Music is not an accompaniment to the scene but an organic part of it. The goal is to give the audience (and the performers) the freedom to surrender to the sensation, as in a vision or a dream, and see what happens—what emotions, sensations, and interpretations of the experience will arise.
